Priscille LACHAT-SARRETE began her musical training with Isabelle Lesage at the Paris VI Conservatory. She continued under with Catherine Courtois at the CRR of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, where she graduated with a gold medal, and then at the CRR of Rueil-Malmaison, where she obtained a distinction for excellence. She completed her studies during two years with Géza Kapás, professor at the Franz Liszt Conservatory of Budapest, and later with Pavel Vernikov at the Saint-Cecilia Academy of Portogruaro (Italy).

During that time, she earned a certificate for music history and a prize for musical culture with Brigitte François-Sappey at the CNSM of Paris. She attended the University of Paris IV Sorbonne, where she was awarded a Doctorate in musicology with distinction for excellence.

Regularly Priscille LACHAT-SARRETE appears in duets and with chamber music ensembles, particularly the Animato String Quartett, including in Paris and the surrounding region. Her repertoire begins with baroque violin solo works of Bach, Locatelli, Telemann and goes until the contemporary composers like Takemitsu, Tanguy or Finzi, including the great classical and romantical Sonatas. She also plays with larger orchestras, she is member of the Ensemble Orchestral Les Voyages Extraordinaires and played with the Orchestre de Bretagne and the Orchestre des Pays de Loire.

Holder of the State Diploma, Priscille LACHAT-SARRETE teaches the violin at the music school (CRD) of Chartres. She plays a 1757 violin made by the Neapolitan instrument maker Giorgio Bairhoff with a bow by Eugène Sartory. For the Baroque Repertoire, she plays a violin of Steffan Nowak with a bow of Nelly Poidevin.
